Lucy, a postdoctoral researcher at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is starting an AI business. Following an AI-generated recommendation, she visited the Sungang-Qingshuihe key area and said, “This looks more like a ‘high-tech new city’.”

Zhang Yi, a civil servant at Luohu District, said that the Sungang-Qingshuihe area is not only a key hub for the district but also one of Shenzhen’s top ten AI industrial clusters. For instance, the China-Europe Research Ecosystem for Advanced Therapeutics Enterprise (CREATE) here has attracted numerous international teams to venture into cutting-edge fields like AI in health care.
